After having climbed the Rimpfischorn Tuomas and I packed our backpacks and headed for 'Mischabel Chain Great Traverse'. We took the easy way up the Hohlaubgrat to the summit from where we traversed towards Feechopf and on to the saddle in between Feechopf and Alphubel. The approaching thunderstorm however forced us to bivy by the foot of the route. We reached the summit of Alphubel the following morning but noticed that the nightly storm had brought loads of new snow on Täschhorn so we decided to call back our plan and descent to Täsch.
