Ascent of Rimpfischhorn (4199 m.) is much more interesting and rewarding through it's North ridge. The crest rises little from the gendarme (4000+ m.) so it offers an exposed high altitude traverse. Tuomas and I climbed the ridge from Britannia Hut and descending part-way the normal route making it a traverse (..and avoiding the long retracing).
