This summer I travelled to Swiss Alps right after the midsummer. My first ascent would be the traverse of Weissmies (4043 m.) starting from the Armageller Hut and descending to Weissmies Hut for overnight. Rain forced me to stay in the hut for two nights instead of one. I started for the route very late when the rain turned to snow at 7 a.m. on 29th. The visibility was poor so I tried to make the most of the broad ridge. I reached the summit without incidents but the way down the other side turned out to be almost too adventurous. Spindrift had covered the trails so I had hard time trying to figure out the safest way down through the heavily crevassed slopes. Not being acclimatized yet I was quite tired when I reached the Weissmies Hut.
